The Newnham home was built around the turn of the century, purchased
by Harry Newnham, one of the "town fathers" in the early 1920s and
had been occupied by his descendants until the spring of 1985.
The exterior of the home is graced with a wrap around porch, complete
with gingerbread carvings in its corners and a porch swing for beautiful
summer nights. Inside you will find spacious rooms embellished with
carved woodwork, beautiful oak floors, graced with oval braided
rugs and large windows. Period style furniture and family antiques
add a decorative touch to its spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms,
sitting room, dining room and country style kitchen.
